Cognee started as a series of blog posts. It is now an OSS library integrated into several products with an active community.

Our story

We started building systems that scale 10+ years ago. Once GPT 3 hit the stage, we were building apps with Langchain and weren't happy. We saw a need for a new generation of data processing and storage. As Vasilije returned to school to study psychology, certain ideas from cognitive science began to influence our thinking. After a few viral tweets and community support, we knew we are onto something.
